Motorgrrl

I literally fell across Valerie and Motorgrrl when I was in the area looking at apartments. At the time Motorgrrl was based on Metropolitan Ave before relocating to the Dobbin St location. My friend and I needed some assistance with a flat battery on a Vespa. Val and her team assisted and a friendship was born.

Union Garage

I met Chris in 2014 when I joined the Union Garage group ride on my Yamaha v-star 250cc. As previously mentioned, I had a grin as wide as the country when the Kick-stands (KSU) commenced and 70 riders rode in formation out of New York on the "Escape NYC" ride. There were all types of bike and all levels of riders from the novice (like me) to the most experienced. We rode north on the FDR and over GW bridge to the first "look out" point on the Palisades. Throughout the entire ride I felt great and relaxed. That first group ride I learnt a lot and met some terrific riders. Then after a short break it was KSU again and we headed on the Palisades and on to Bear Mountain where lunch was provided. It was a terrific day, weather was good and I had completed my first group ride!

NY Honda Yamaha

Where it all began.... The dealership has to get a mention here. Darrin and the team were fantastic with much valuable advice. They were the start of the journey from the Yamaha v-Star 250 to providing much needed maintenance on the Bolt 950cc to choosing and purchasing FJ-09.
